Kajiado Jubilee Party gubernatorial candidate Dr. David Nkedianye and his running mate Joseph Manje have urged residents to elect them for better service delivery.

Speaking at the campaign trail in Oltiasika, Kajiado South constituency, the former governor said that once elected, Kajiado residents will continue to enjoy quality services which he alleged had been cut off by Ole Lenku’s administration.

“I want to bring back the livestock vaccination Program for the whole county as it was before. Our livestock should be vaccinated against foot and mouth disease, rinderpest and all the other diseases so that we gain maximum profits from our livestock,” said Nkedianye

He also said that water scarcity remains a major challenge in Kajiado and he will address the problem by drilling boreholes.

“During my first tenure, I had drilled two boreholes in Olbilil and Iltilal areas to address water scarcity, I promise you that if elected again, my administration will ensure that even livestock have adequate water by building dams,” he said.

On his part, Manje, the Kajiado North MP cum Nkedianye’s running mate assured residents of better health services once elected.

“For a long time now, patients in Kajiado have been subjected to high medical bills as the Kajiado Referral Hospital and other local dispensaries lack drugs. This has made them to seek health services in private hospitals which are quite costly. Once elected, we will ensure that the hospitals are well equipped with drugs and qualified personnel,” said Manje

The MP said he joined hands with Ole Nkedianye because he is a performer just like him and the county will be set on a development trail just like it was before.

“Kajiado North has been transformed immensely during my tenure as the area Member of Parliament and I pledge to work together with Dr. Nkedianye to transform the entire county,” said Manje

Nkedianye is seeking to replace the incumbent Governor Joseph ole Lenku who is defending the seat via the Orange Democratic Party Ticket.

Other candidates vying for the same coveted post are Kajiado South MP Katoo ole Metito via the UDA ticket and Kago Ambrose Ng’ang’a (Independent).
