Political landscape is quickly changing in Nairobi after Opposition leaders opposed to President William Ruto and opposition Chief Raila Odinga endorsed Senator Edwin Sifuna’s bid.
The endorsement comes days after Sifuna was linked to Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s political months after he spearheaded his impeachment in the Senate.
Yesterday, a section of Mt.Kenya voters questioned former Mp Denis Waweru’s motive after he purported to speak on their behalf and called him a ‘ broker’ .
” We have been suffering in silence in the hands of a retrogressive Nairobi city leadership, where was he? Kalonzo and like Denis Waweru should leave us alone,” Said Faith Kinyanjui.
She said that as a community, they are subscribed to Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s leadership and they believe in visionary leadership.
” Omari is a visionary leader, we are going to back him regardless of the party he will contest on. He has been with us in the hour of need,” she added.
A senior official from the Matatu owners Association said that, The vibrant advocate was their candidate for the Senate.
” You saw him in court defending us during our time of difficulty, unlike Senator Sifuna who has been an active figure in the Senate and on various social media platforms, Lawyer Danstan Omari has been on our side,” he said.
They vowed to vote in the advocate and bring change in the city.
Lawyer Danstan Omari has been smart in his dealings. He moved with courage and defended President Uhuru Kenyatta’s powerful man from being arrested by the Kenya Kwanza regime. He also tried defended former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and he is also close friend of both Opposition chief Raila Odinga and President William Ruto.
Political Experts alludes that, Omari may smoothly sail through to the Senate.
