The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan is back. Coca-Cola has officially kicked off the 2025 festive season in Kenya with an exciting celebration centered on kindness, connection, and uplifting moments for all. Anchored on the inspiring global theme, “The World Needs More Santas,” the campaign seeks to encourage Kenyans to spread goodwill through small, meaningful acts of kindness throughout the holiday season.
The festivities began with a vibrant Christmas-themed street party in Nairobi, where local performers, thousands of delighted consumers, and key stakeholders came together for an evening of music, dance, and shared holiday joy. The highlight of the event was the official flag-off of the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan and the iconic Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of the historic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). This symbolic moment ushered in a festive season dedicated to togetherness, generosity, and joy for millions across the country.
Following the Nairobi launch, the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan will travel through the capital and across more than 30 counties in Kenya, making stops at malls, community spaces, markets, and neighborhoods. Through mall activations, community visits, music, and magical holiday experiences, the Caravan will spotlight the everyday “Santas” in Kenyan communities—those who embody kindness, selflessness, and the spirit of giving.
“This holiday season, Coca-Cola is celebrating the real-life Santas among us,” said Monique Katana, Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola East and Central Africa. “Through the Caravan and local events, we hope to remind Kenyans that a small act of kindness can make a big difference. The holidays are for pausing, reconnecting, and savoring heartfelt moments with the people and traditions we cherish most.”
This year’s Caravan places a strong emphasis on Kenyan culture, offering immersive experiences complemented by thoughtful giveaways of cherished local staples and essential goods—including soda, goats, chickens, fish, and chapati flour. Running throughout November and December, the Caravan will transform the holiday hustle into magical moments of laughter, connection, and celebration.
A major highlight of the global campaign is the reimagined “Holidays Are Coming” film, powered by cutting-edge generative AI developed in partnership with Silverside AI. Blending nostalgic warmth with modern innovation, the film features beloved Coca-Cola icons such as the Caravan Tour, underscoring the company’s enduring legacy of holiday magic while embracing the future of creative storytelling.
“For decades, Coca-Cola has been a beacon of holiday magic around the world,” said Islam ElDessouky, Global Vice President of Creative Strategy & Content at Coca-Cola. “This year, we’re continuing that legacy by uniting innovation and human connection—celebrating communities and reminding the world that the real magic comes from kindness and togetherness.”
Kenyan consumers are invited to spread holiday cheer by sharing their personal Santa moments through Coca-Cola’s interactive platforms. Whether it’s a small gesture, heartfelt laughter, or a simple act of care, Coca-Cola is encouraging everyone to join the movement and spread joy and kindness throughout the festive season.
