Residents of Makina Ward, a perceived CEO Nicholus Okach stronghold yesterday chased away Madollar Mapesa after he stormed the area with some vehicles to allegedly campaign for a candidate.
According to those aware of the matter, Madollar Mapesa aim was to divide and separate the Nubians and other communities from voting for a particular candidate.
Makina Ward alongside Mashimoni and Laini Saba are perceived to be the CEO’s stronghold and the said CEO has been visiting the area with goodies which includes Food stuff, Pampers for Young Mothers in the community and additionally he has even paid fees for 100 less fortunate pupils in the said wards.
Source claimed that previous meetings of Madollar Mapesa in the area were marked with the distribution of fake monies which landed some of the residents at Kibera Courts.
Speaking in an unanimous manner, a resident from Makina said that they have already made up their mind.
“We have already made our mind, there is an aspirant, a new entry who looks genuine, we have been through his foundation which has been giving us goodies even in his absence,” she said referring to alledged Omoh Homes Boss.
Makina, Laina Saba and Mashimoni are perceived to be a must win wards for any aspirant who want to rule Kibera Constituency. Thanks to their large population.
Both Madollar and the CEO are yet to respond to the issues during the time of publishing.
