Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria has been awarded the prestigious title of International Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian service and diplomatic contributions.

The honor acknowledges Mosiria’s consistent efforts in promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion within communities, as well as his commitment to public service rooted in inclusivity and dialogue.

Reacting to the recognition, Mosiria described the title as both an honor and a responsibility.

As part of his new role, Mosiria pledged to leverage the platform to advance peacebuilding initiatives, strengthen conflict resolution mechanisms, and inspire young people and emerging leaders to embrace harmony, tolerance, and responsible leadership.

He further emphasized his commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance community resilience, social justice, and national unity, noting that sustainable peace can only be achieved through collective action and inclusive development.

Mosiria expressed gratitude to institutions, colleagues, and mentors who have supported his journey, describing the recognition as a reminder that leadership must always be anchored in service to the greater good.
