A prominent Kibra-based CEO has dismissed widespread social media claims suggesting he has withdrawn from the upcoming Kibra parliamentary race, describing the reports as false and misleading.
In a statement issued through his communications team, the business leader clarified that he remains an active candidate and is fully committed to his campaign.
“I want to categorically state that I have not withdrawn from the Kibra race. These allegations are false and unfounded. I remain firmly in the contest and committed to offering leadership that addresses the needs and aspirations of the people of Kibra,” the CEO said.
The clarification follows a wave of online speculation alleging that the candidate had stepped down due to internal disagreements and political pressure. His team dismissed the rumours as deliberate misinformation intended to create confusion among supporters.
According to the communications office, the CEO has continued to intensify grassroots engagements, meeting residents and community leaders as part of his campaign outreach.
“Our focus remains on engaging voters and presenting a clear development agenda for Kibra. We urge the public to disregard unverified reports circulating on social media and rely only on official campaign communication,” the statement added.

A poll conducted in early January shows that the CEO is very much far against his competitors including the incumbent.
