The brand introduced the Tanqueray Safari Chic Special, a cocktail crafted exclusively for the rally, blending the gin’s distinctive botanical profile with a Kenyan-inspired twist. The serve combined Tanqueray No. TEN with a custom hibiscus and chamomile cordial, topped with club soda and presented in a martini-style format.

Premium Experience at Iconic Rally Stages

Over the four-day event, two prime spectator zones — Kedong and Elementaita — hosted rally enthusiasts seeking both adrenaline and luxury. The Kedong stage welcomed 850 guests, while Elementaita hosted over 1,200, offering premium vantage points at one of the most demanding rallies on the global motorsport calendar.

The event, held from March 12 to 15, tested drivers across Naivasha’s rugged terrain, featuring volcanic rock, river crossings, and deep sand tracks that have historically challenged even top contenders.

A Cocktail Inspired by Kenya’s Landscape

According to Nancy Nansikombi, Tanqueray Brand Manager for East Africa, the cocktail was designed to reflect both the brand’s heritage and Kenya’s natural richness.

“The Safari Rally draws people who appreciate what it means to be tested by nature. We wanted the Tanqueray Ten experience at this event to meet that standard. The Safari Chic Special is rooted in what Kenya offers,” she said.

Distilled in small batches with whole citrus fruits and chamomile flowers, Tanqueray No. TEN’s profile lent itself naturally to the floral and citrus-forward cocktail, tailored to suit local tastes while maintaining a premium finish.
