Censys, EVAD to Showcase Cyber Defence Platform at GITEX Kenya 2026

As Kenya prepares to host the first-ever GITEX Kenya 2026 in Nairobi from 19th to 21st May, the conversation is moving beyond digital ambition to a harder business question: how secure is the technology growth now being built across the region?

That question sits at the centre of Censys’ participation at the conference, where the company, together with its partner EVAD, will showcase its SOC Modernization platform. The focus is not simply on cybersecurity tools, but on helping organisations gain clearer visibility of their digital exposure as they adopt cloud systems, artificial intelligence, connected platforms and wider digital services.

Kenya’s technology market is entering a new phase. The Kenya Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2025–2030 positions the country as a regional leader in AI research, innovation and commercialisation, while also highlighting the need for secure and responsible digital infrastructure. For businesses, this means growth will increasingly depend not only on innovation, but also on trust, resilience and the ability to manage cyber risk at speed.

Censys’ platform is designed to help security teams continuously discover and secure their external attack surface. In simple terms, it gives organisations a clearer view of the digital assets that can be seen from the internet, including systems, services and possible weak points that attackers may try to exploit. It also enriches alerts with real-time attacker intelligence and supports faster threat hunting and incident response through internet-wide visibility and historical data.

For many companies, this matters because digital transformation has expanded faster than security teams can manually track. New applications, cloud services, third-party systems and remote access points can create blind spots. Those blind spots are no longer just technical issues; they are business risks that can affect customer trust, operations, compliance and growth.

“GITEX Kenya offers a very significant platform to connect with our customers and partners who are building the future digital economy of East Africa,” said Meriam ElOuazzani, Vice President, Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Censys. “As organisations across the region rapidly adopt artificial intelligence and implement digital transformation, cybersecurity visibility and resilience become increasingly critical. Censys’ presence with EVAD is in line with this need.”

At the event, visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of the platform, engage with cybersecurity experts and explore practical ways to improve asset discovery, threat detection and risk management.
