Bamburi Cement Boosts Learning at Kwabulo Secondary with New Classrooms and Furniture

Bamburi Cement has strengthened its community development agenda through the commissioning of new learning facilities at Kwabulo Secondary School, aimed at improving access to quality education infrastructure.

Last Friday, the company commissioned two classrooms and a store at the school and donated 80 lockers and chairs.

The facilities were officially inaugurated by Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali, alongside school leadership, community representatives, and officials from Bamburi Cement.

The intervention addresses a long-standing challenge at the institution, where students previously studied in temporary tents and often sat on the floor due to inadequate classrooms and furniture.

The new infrastructure is expected to provide a safer, more dignified, and conducive learning environment, ultimately supporting improved academic performance and student well-being.

Stakeholders praised Bamburi Cement for its continued investment in education, noting that quality infrastructure plays a central role in empowering young people and strengthening local communities.

The project underscores Bamburi Cement’s ongoing commitment to sustainable community impact, with education remaining a key pillar of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
