Exposed: How Former African Touch Safaris Staff allegdgly defrauded Sh4 million in fake flight ticket scam

The Milimani Court yesterday heard a case in which a former employee of African Touch Safaris Limited allegdgly used tricks to defraud Sh 4 million in a scandal involving flight tickets.

The employee, Carolyne Wanjiru Munene was arraigned and charge yesterday with the offence in court where she denied the charges.

The Court heard as per the chargeshert that she allegdgly stole 21 flight tickets valued at Sh 4,127,820 from African Touch Safaris which got into her possession by virtue of her employment , by doing this she betrayed her trust .

She is said to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 12th November 2019 and 9th January 2020 at the company’s offices at ACK Garden House in Nairobi .

She denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and was released on a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
