Anti corruption court has adjourned the graft case facing former Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero and 12 others to March 2026.
Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Selesa Okore on Tuesday,allowed the adjournment but urged the prosecution to speed up the hearing of the Shs 58 million facing the former Governor and his accomplices.
The court gave dates in March 18-19,25,26 and April 14 and 15,2026 to allow the prosecution to have the matter concluded expeditiously.
Kidero and his co- accused are said to have received the money from Nairobi county on January 6,2014.
The said amount according to the prosecution was paid to the law firm of Wachira Mburu Mwangi and company advocates.
Kidero is charged alongside former Nairobi County financial officers and suppliers.
