When Nairobi West Member of County Assembly Hon. John Rex Omolleh took to the reign of leadership after the 2022 general elections, he affirmed his commitment to walk and execute his words and promise made during campaigns.
” When you elect me as your MCA, I want to tell you today that I will never let you down. I will make you proud and bring real time change, growth and development that you are all yearning for, let Us walk the good journey of transformation together” Hon. John Rex Omolleh said then.
Today, We managed to do a quick survey in his area of jurisdictions to track his development records.
Our Survey shows that the area residents are so far comfortable with his leadership and his good coordination with the electorates both on the ground and on social media has made him to be in touch with the reality on the ground.
” Rex Omolleh is a man who keeps his words, today I can proudly say that I have benefitted from some of the bursaries that usually originate from his office. Additional We as residents are in good touch with him and his good coordination with us has made the difference,” said one of the residents.
An official from the MCA’s office confirmed to us that the MCA has so far disbursed bursary to more than 2000 bright and needy students, complete construction of modern ECDE center which is now fully operational, ensured close partnership with local learning institutions to foster progress of learners, initiated educational exchange program to equip and empower our young residents.
” Hon. John Rex Omolleh is stopping at nothing to improve and promote education and literacy, his dream is to catapult Nairobi West Ward into National map on matters education, added the official.
Additionally, some residents thanked the MCA his timely and all round availability and engagement with them.
Our deep insight have revealed that road and other infrastructures that had since been dilapidated and unattended are now undergoing major construction and repair works many which are complete such as Kisauni , Funguo Estate, Swara Estate, Kifaru estate Roads among others with other notable achievements being reclamation and construction of Bombay playing field to approved standard(work ongoing), improved working and business environment through supervision , coordination and partnership with National/County institutions, private establishments and residents.
When reached for comment on the matter, Hon.John Rex Omolleh said that Nairobi West Ward is a work in progress area and residents will soon take stock of the gains made, our determination and focus remains.
He further said that his mandate is to improve livelihood and he encouraged continued corporation and team work from all stakeholders.
” I want to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve this milestone. I once more encourage continued stakeholder’s collaboration and partnership , I want to tell my people that I am committed to improving service delivery and fulfill all that I promised, we are on the right trajectory ” said Omolleh.
