Respected City Lawyer, Danstan Omari, has called on Muslims to leverage the holy month of Ramadhan to promote peace, harmony, and the importance of good governance, particularly for the residents of Nairobi.
Speaking on the matter today, Omari emphasized that Ramadhan is a sacred time for reflection and spiritual growth, and Muslims worldwide should use it as an opportunity to make positive decisions. He stated, “Ramadhan is a holy month that calls for good decisions. Muslims around the world need to use this month to preach peace, happiness, and harmony.”
Omari, who has already declared his intention to run for the Nairobi Senate seat, became the first political aspirant to directly seek support from the Muslim community. “Among all the aspirants, I am the first to come out and request your votes, brothers and sisters,” Omari said, urging the Muslim community to back his bid for leadership.
Omari’s message highlights the importance of unity and good governance during a critical period for the city and the country at large.
