Majority of Nairobi County residents have applauded City Lawyer Danstan Omari’s Courage and humanitarian activities amid their push to have him as the next Nairobi Senator.
This comes even as Senator Edwin Sifuna’s profound silence continue amid Forceful disappearances, Extra-Judicial Killings and corruption allegations against the County Government’s Leadership.
Additionally, the Senator has failed to put Governor Johnson Sakaja on check even as Lawyer Danstan Omari continues advocating for fairness, justice and good governance free from corruption and embezzlement of funds.
According to those who spoke to this publication, Lawyer Danstan Omari’s previous activities points to a man who is unmoved , courageous, hard-working and a a self made leader whom they have looking for for years.
“Look, Danstan Omari has been in courts, in the field and in and with grieving families at the same time, this man is overworking to safeguard the rights of others,” said a Bonface Muthoka, a city businessman.
Another resident said that, unlike Senator Edwin Sifuna who rarely steps in courts to fight for the underprivileged people in the city, Lawyer Danstan Omari has been spearheading key efforts that have so far positioned him as the man of the people.
” Edwin Sifuna is an advocate of the high court, however he rarely steps in court to fight for the rights of the poor residents. He is always active on social media and he has never been spotted giving back to the society, this is why we want Lawyer Danstan Omari as our next Senator,” Said Edwin Kivuva.
