Rogue Jean Emanuel Marlon alias Larmaca J, Benjamin linked to Sh12 Million Fraud

The court has directed that international fraudster Jean Emanuel Marlon alias Larmaca J, Benjamin be remanded further untill March 3.

This is after the Dpp opposed his release on bond on the ground that he was a flight risk and he was also in a position to temper with the available witnesses.

This comes after the accused person who is Mr.Jean pleaded not guilty to all the fourteen counts including obtaining over ksh 12,000,000 before Jomo Kenyatta international law court magistrate Njeri Thuku who ordered too that jean be taken to hospital.

The magistrate ordered a pre bail report to on the said date before making her ruling.

While opposing the accused to be released on bond or cash bail,the office of the director of public prosecutor files an affidavit indicating that the accused is a flight risk because he possessed two passport that are yet to be investigated.

The DPP also told the trial magistrate that the accused has been interfering with the complainant and the witnesses by sending them texts and photos while armed threatening to kill them.

“The suspect has been threatening my key witness including the complainant,we have even photos and text that he sent to the victims,”Said Mulama.

While opposition the application by the DPP to deny the accused bond or bail, lawyer for the accused Mr Wandugi told the court that his client is resourceful and he was ready to abide by all the terms and conditions that the court would issue.

Wandugi added that there was no compelling reason to why his client should be denied bond or bail since the main complainant has not filed or have an OB indicating that indeed his client threatened him.

According to the charge sheet,it’s alleged that on 20th day of January 2025 at Diamond Trust Bank account No.45799322689, Riverside branch within the Republic of Kenya being a director of Afrex bridge connect limited a cooperate body, jointly and fraudulently obtained 93,000,000 United State dollars (ksh 12,000,000.)from Mercuri Ferdinando G,while purporting that you were in a position to transport by air 550 kilograms of high value cargo ,from Kenya to Dubai a fact you knew to be fault.

In another count,Marlon was charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate contrary to section 4(1)as read with section 3(a) of the firearm act cap 114 law of Kenya.

According to the court papers, the accused person committed the offence on the 2nd day of February 2025 at house no.12 in Mt Kenya wildlife conservancy Estate at Ol-Pejeta ,in Nanyuki within Laikipia county you were found to be in possession of Glock pistol S/no VTY157 without a valid firearm certificate at the time contrary to the law.

If the court fails to grant him bond, the accused person will remain in custody until March 3
