A storm is brewing in Kibra after the famous CEO and Omohhomes Foundation boss angrily dismissed reports claiming he had withdrawn from the parliamentary race and endorsed incumbent MP Peter Orero, terming the allegations as “cheap propaganda, outright stupidity, and a desperate attempt to mislead the people.”
In a strongly worded statement released by his media team, the CEO made it clear that he remains firmly in the contest, accusing his opponent of spreading falsehoods to salvage a failing political image.
“Let me be very clear, I am fully in this race. I have not stepped down, I have not endorsed anyone, and I will not be intimidated by outdated politics built on lies,” he said.
Taking direct aim at the current leadership, the CEO did not hold back:
“The outgoing MP with no tangible record has gone so low. Kibra deserves leadership with vision, not empty rhetoric and recycled promises.”
He further alleged that corruption issues surrounding his opponent are already under scrutiny:
“Orero is in the public domain insulting Kenyans while serious corruption scandals linked to him are reportedly before investigative agencies. He must stop confusing Kibra residents.”
The CEO insisted that the people of Kibra have already made up their minds:
“The ground is clear , the people of Kibra have chosen a new path. They are tired of neglect, tired of broken systems, and ready for transformative leadership.”
Reaffirming his connection with the community, he highlighted his humanitarian efforts that have earned him grassroots support:
“Unlike my competitors, I have stood with the people investing in housing, supporting vulnerable families, empowering youth, and restoring dignity where it was lost. That is why Kibra stands with me.”
He added:
“No amount of fake news will shake this movement. This is bigger than politics it is about restoring hope and delivering real change.”
The statement comes amid circulating reports alleging he had exited the race and thrown his support behind Orero claims he has now firmly rubbished as false, malicious, and politically motivated.
