StarTimes has unveiled the H50 Solar Solution, a hybrid energy system designed to address ongoing household power challenges caused by electricity outages.
The company says the system is aimed at ensuring continuity of daily home activities such as entertainment, cooking, working, and studying, even during blackouts.
The H50 Solar Solution includes a 5kVA hybrid inverter, a 5.12kWh battery, and 2.3kWp solar panel capacity delivered through four high-efficiency solar panels.
StarTimes says the system provides households with a reliable backup power source that supports both essential appliances and digital entertainment services.
Myke Mwai, Head of PR and Content Syndication at StarTimes, said the product is designed to enhance customer convenience and lifestyle stability.
“The H50 Solar Solution allows households to continue enjoying their favourite StarTimes TV content without interruption, even during blackouts,” said Mwai.
He added that the system can power multiple home appliances including fridges, microwaves, televisions, routers, kettles, and sound systems, along with up to 40 LED lights.
The hybrid system intelligently manages solar generation, battery storage, and grid electricity to ensure efficient energy use and stable performance.
Customers can access the solution through StarTimes Business Halls, where support and installation services are provided.
