As election draws closer, the Orange Democratic Party seems to be on its last touches of firing its embattled Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and forcing him into some states of confusions .

According to an insider aware of the matter, Senator Sifuna will not be a member of the ODM by end of December this year. All efforts to chase him away have been finalized.
” Yes its true the ODM top hierarchy will be replacing him later this year , he has consistently continued to derail President William Ruto’s re-election plans,” said a source aware of the matter. Sifuna’s party boss Mr.Raila Odinga has already endorsed President William Ruto’s re-elections plans.
The developments comes barely less than two days after President William Ruto on behalf of Opposition Chief Raila Odinga fired a warning shot to him urging him to style up or shift out of the ODM party.
Ruto categorically told off Sifuna that himself is the founder member of ODM and urged him to exercises maximum caution.
As this troubles and Misery continue to grind Sifuna, his main rival in the race, respected City Lawyer Danstan Omari’s popularity continues to grow.
Omari is gaining love and acceptance from the people in the city thanks to his ability to fight for the right of city residents.
For instance most Nairobians and Kenyans at large were impressed on how Omari and the team consoled with the family of the late Mulmedia University students who was brutally murdered.
Omari is also on records fighting against injustices committed to some of the city residents .
Additional , several political bigwigs have urged the firebrand advocate to use their political vehicles to contest for the Senate but he is yet to declare his party of interest.
A group of Genzs also endorsed him last year and urged him to go for the Nairobi Senate seat.
For records, other aspirants have also showed interest for the Nairobi Senate Seat but are yet to declare their interest.
” We shall see many aspirant joining the race in coming days but however the race is between Lawyer Danstan Omari and the incumbent Senator Edwin Sifuna,” said a city political expert Tom Njoroge
